A perspective on the South Division "road diet"

The process of looking at South Division as a complete street and moving towards a more pedestrian friendly community was started 10 years ago when Dwelling Place and what was then called the Mainstreet program, undertook the process of doing a charette planning process for South Divison.

Neighbors Business owners and city staff convened for a series of dialogues and planning excersies to discuss what important steps would make South Division more friendly to visitors and neighbors.

We carefully recruit and select businesses that work well in the neighborhoods we serve and our application process requires the prospective tenant submit a business plan. Dwelling Place is pleased to unveil plans for two new homes along Donald Street in Wealthy Heights. The homes, located at 301& 305 Donald will offer fresh affordable housing options just off of the bustling Wealthy business corridor.

Individuals who are interested finding out more about home ownership qualifications should attend an informational meeting on Monday May 9th.
