Curb Appeal Evaluations
Dwelling Place owns and manages over 35 properties across West Michigan. As you might imagine, the job of maintaining attractive apartment communities year-round is ongoing and arduous! But attractiveness, or curb appeal, is an important value of Dwelling Place, and our staff regularly work with residents and volunteers to achieve it.
Curb appeal refers to the attractiveness of a property. Volunteers meet quarterly to evaluate the curb appeal of all Dwelling Place properties, looking at the exterior, interior, and landscape quality of apartment communities.
Curb appeal evaluations are completed by volunteers and residents who take pride in architecture, landscaping, interior decorating, and maintenance. Over a three-hour Saturday session, evaluators attend a training and then tour around several Dwelling Place properties to take notes on how best to improve them.
This volunteer project is for those who want an immersive and rewarding experience in Dwelling Place communities, and is a perfect opportunity for a small group, family, or individual to get involved.
