At Dwelling Place, part of our mission is to create quality, affordable housing. We emphasize sustainability through environmental design and green building principals. We utilize green design standards such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and Enterprise Green Communities (EGC) to measure conservation of resources and demonstrate our commitment to creating healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings.
Dwelling Place owns 13 LEED-certified multi-family housing and mixed-use buildings in nine communities. This is more than any other affordable rental housing provider in Michigan.
