Brown Bag Lunch: The History of Redlining
Join us for a discussion about the history of redlining in America. As a group, we will watch several short films that investigate how government policies have marginalized some homebuyers in America while promoting and giving benefit to others.
We will then have a group discussion about how redlining affects the current social landscape and the inter-generational effects. Bring lunch, and be ready to have open dialogue about race in our city.
Please RSVP to Jenn at firstname.lastname@example.org, this event is open to Dwelling Place staff and any Grand Rapids community members who want to join the conversation.
